Dudons Update 2023
If you – like us – enjoy practicing your English everyday with Dudons, then we’ve got some exciting news for you. 🥳👇
Improvements
🗣️ Dudons will be more conversational.
We will do less grammar activities and more Speaking
🤝 Students will have Speaking Targets.
Beginners will start with a Speaking target of 5 minutes, and intermediate and advanced students of 7 minutes per day.
📙 Students will have extra materials available.
Students will find a list of conversation topics in the WhatsApp group Description for the days when they want to practice more.
Why are we doing these improvements?
1. Dudons will be more conversational:
Students have told us that what they enjoy the most is the Speaking part, so we will focus a bit more on that.
Still, we will send grammar activities when students need it.
2. Students will have Speaking Targets
Students should dedicate 15 minutes per day to Dudons, this includes:
- Time looking at the activity of the day.
- Time speaking.
- Time listening teachers voices notes.
Measuring this was confusing for teachers - to make this more simple, we will measure how much time does the student Speak.
Speaking targets:
Beginner students: 5 minutes per day.
Intermediates and advanced: 7 minutes per day.
3. Students will have extra materials available.
For the days that the activity is a bit short, students will have some extra materials to practice and reach their Speaking target.
